The Platina Lavender Chaise is one of the more elegant Rococo style Chaise Lounges. The design measures 85 Long X 31 Deep X 52.5 inches Tall Back. Alternately referred to as a Recamier or fainting sofa of this fashion is an example of a style of furnishings, originating in France about 1720, evolved from Baroque styling, The chaise is handcarved by some of the worlds finest carvers in solid Mahogany. Special attention was given to the quality of the carvings and the brilliant Silver Platine wood finishing used. The item is upholstered with a vibrant Lavender purple velvet, which is strikingly beautiful with the rich finish. Another exclusive design and finish from the Heritage Collection. A collection of fine, hand made furniture in the purest of standards of age old traditional crafting. The special Mahogany wood comes from replanted forests. The selected wood has been kiln dried.
