The left and right life size pair of standing terra cotta warriors 78.74" tall w black earthy finish. These impressive sculptures are individually hand cast and hand finished in a durable fiberglass and cast stone reinforced material. The black earthy finish is durable and offers an authentic antique quality and richness. These recreations of todays' famous terracotta army depict the bravest and most loyal of soldiers from the guards of qin shi huang, the first emperor of china and creator of the qin dynasty. It is said qin, in order to have the same military power and protection in the after life, was buried with 1000's of these soldiers in 210?209 bce who for centuries to come protected the emperor buried , the tomb was discovered in the 1970's by a farmer.
